Date built: 1642 - 1675 (rumored)

Location: Salem, Massachusetts

Background

Most sources claim the home was built in 1642. But not many historical sources back this claim. Some even claim that the future founder of Rhode Island, Roger Williams, lived within the home. Claims that the home wasn't even finished until 1675 have also been thrown around. Eventually the home came into possession of Judge Johnathan Corwin. The judge became involved in in Salem's infamous Witch Trials in 1692. Despite it's name, no trials actually occurred within the home itself. This has led many to believe that the home is in fact haunted.

Theory

I don't think the home is haunted. Like, at all. in fact the most mysterious aspect of the home is the fact that nobody truly knows when the house has been constructed. Seriously, I've read at least 10 articles and still couldn't find any clear and accepted date.
